The leaf prints are from the actual leaves. No artificial dyes or colors are used.
Leaves are placed on the dampened scarf and covered with a cloth dipped in an iron water solution. The scarf is wrapped tightly around a wood dowel, covered in plastic, and steamed. Natural colors may be added for variety. After it dries, the scarf is carefully rinsed and ironed.
